The CommuniGate Pro Media Plugin receives streaming media data from the Internet using the RTP/AV protocol, decodes it, and plays it via the client-side devices, such as speakerphones, headsets, and/or handsets.
The CommuniGate Pro Media Plugin records media data via client-side devices such as microphones, headsets, and/or handsets, encodes it, and sends it as streaming media data to the Internet using the RTP/AV protocol.
The CommuniGate Pro Media Plugin supports multiple parallel "media legs", utilizing the same or different client-side devices.
The CommuniGate Pro Media Plugin supports both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
The CommuniGate Pro Media Plugin is designed to be used with XIMSS client application, but it can also be used with applications based on other signaling protocols, such as SIP or XMPP-based.
