IM/Presence

The CommuniGate Pro Instant Messaging and Presence applications are based on open standards like XMPP (Jabber) and SIP/SIMPLE, but also supports Microsoft's SIP signaling. The technology scales to multi-million subscriber levels with its SIP Farm© (patent-pending) technology. It provides the platform to build out large subscriber base communities, host Enterprise secure IM, and feed presence info to VoIP telephony applications and clients.

Presence Services for VoIP: CommuniGate Pro certified for support of the Polycom SoundPoint IP Phones and works with many softclients to provide presence information.

Groupware Integration: CommuniGate Pro's presence server provides information about user status to the Pronto! Flash Interface, and integration with Windows Messenger 5.1 and Outlook.

Instant Messaging: CommuniGate Pro delivers a secure Instant Messaging solution for operators to provide to either consumer and/or business subscriber bases. The Instant Messaging services provide Roster Management, a choice of clients, based on XMPP (Jabber), SIP/SIMPLE or CommuniGate's Pronto! Flash UI. The CommuniGate Pro Instant Messaging Services can also be accessed via the XIMSS API, allowing flexible integration into external applications and services.
