CommuniGate Systems and Navtel Communications Partner for Real-World Performance and Simulation Testing of SIP Traffic

Team to test and document CommuniGate Pro SIP Farm performance of high-load, standards-based SIP and RTP traffic, meeting the highest demands for VoIP and IMS connectivity and termination

The companies are working together to ensure customers receive the highest levels of reliability, performance and Quality of Service (QoS) for CommuniGate Pro SIP Farm, a patent-pending technology for clustering voice-over-IP (VoIP).

CommuniGate and Navtel will join forces to detail CommuniGate Pro VoIP performance for registration, call completion, and SIP and media proxying, to be used by customers in sizing and implementing large-scale deployments of SIP-based VoIP to telco-level capacities. CommuniGate.s multi-node, all-active SIP Farm technology makes it possible to host millions of subscribers while providing 99.999% uptime, redundancy and scalability, and allowing customers to just add additional SIP Farm nodes as the subscriber base grows over time.

Carriers will utilize the partnership to assure best practices for deployment of the CommuniGate Pro SIP Farm in Tier2 and Tier1 class deployments. Often, carriers must determine the interoperability of end point devices, switches and connectivity latency. Navtel will provide CommuniGate customers with the industry's most realistic emulation environment in combination with an extensive set of troubleshooting diagnostics.
