Pronto! Video Mail Setup ------------------------ We've added Video Mail feature in Pronto! 2.2. In order to make it work, you'll need Flash Media Server 2 or 3 installed on one of your servers. If you have FMS, then you should follow these steps to make Video Mail work. Assume your CGP is installed on %domain%. %FMS% - FMS installation folder, in Windows it is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3\ 1. Add DNS record fms.%domain% that points to your FMS server IP address. 2. After that you should install FMS application that works with Pronto!. There are two versions of this application: v1. One needs CGP server installed on the same physical server where FMS is installed. It stores all video mails on the server and works faster. v2. Another version doesn't need CGP server near FMS, it stores video mails in user's File Storage folder, but it works slower. (FMS applications are attached as fmsappv1.zip and fmsappv2.zip) 3. Copy the contents of one the archives to FMS application folder: %FMS%/application. v2 requires no further steps. v1 steps: --------- 4. Copy Application.xml from %FMS%/conf/_defaultRoot_/_defaultVHost_/ to %FMS%/appliacations/videomail/. 5. Open Application.xml in a text editor, go to line with node (line 163 in default Application.xml). 6. Put the following node inside node: /letters_store;%PATH% 7. You should replace %PATH% to %CGP-FILES%\Accounts\cgp-video.macnt\account.web, where %CGP-FILES% is the path to CommuniGate Files folder (C:\CommuniGate Files\ in deafult Windows installation). 7.1. You need to create cgp-video account on your CGP server, that is installed on the same physical server as FMS. Make sure you have account.web directory for that account created: %CGP-FILES%\Accounts\cgp-video.macnt\account.web 7.2. Extract the contents of videomailplayerv1.zip (attached) to %CGP-FILES%\Accounts\cgp-video.macnt\account.web
